MMP Promotes Ehrhardt to Vice President of Practice Management for West Region – 04/12/2011
Atlanta, Ga. – June 20, 2011 – MMP, a national firm providing billing and practice management services to radiologists and imaging centers, is pleased to announce that its Vice President of Radiology Services, Mr. Randal Roat, CHBME received the Calhoun Award from the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) at the 2011 Radiology Summit.
Each year at the RBMA Radiology Summit, the current board president bestows awards and recognition to those individuals who have taken the time to volunteer and support the association. The Calhoun Award is presented to the individual that has made outstanding contributions to radiology business management and to the RBMA.
Mr. Roat is currently a member of the Payor Relations and Federal Affairs Committee within the RBMA. As past president of the Healthcare Business Management Association (HBMA), he also served with the RBMA board as its HBMA liaison. Mr. Roat has also conducted numerous educational sessions and presented at RBMA trade shows and annual meetings and frequently contributes articles to various radiology industry newsletters and publications. Within MMP, he is actively involved in radiology practice strategic planning and practice management, technology and billing operations and governmental advocacy including regulatory and legislative issues related to radiology. He also leads the Radiology Specialty Committee for MMP.
