MMP Appoints Vice President Of Emergency Medicine – 02/01/2010

Medical Management Professionals, Inc. (MMP), a national firm providing billing and practice management services to emergency physicians and emergency medicine practices, has appointed Victor Sarkissian as vice president of emergency medicine.

Mr. Sarkissian brings over 25 years of healthcare experience to the company and will oversee the emergency medicine division and direct billing and practice management operations for MMP’s emergency clients. He joined MMP in 2007 as part of MMP’s acquisition of Healthcare Business Resources, Inc., where he served as president. His past experience also includes spending 10 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he managed the healthcare reimbursement and legislative group and achieved recognition as an authority on physician reimbursement and practice arrangements, hospital joint ventures, and corporate restructuring. He is a CPA, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, and a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
