Joseph (Joe) Degati is the Chief Technology Officer for MMP. He is responsible for all of MMP’s technology functions including applications, infrastructure and information security. He has more than 25 years of experience in information technology, including more than 10 years in the healthcare industry.

Mr. Degati joined MMP in January of 2009. Prior to joining MMP, Mr. Degati served as Chief Information Officer for Spheris (now MedQuist), Senior Vice President/Chief Information Officer for Progeny Marketing Innovations, and Senior Director of Technology for Footstar. Mr. Degati began his career with Accenture as a Manager in their consulting practice.

Mr. Degati is a member of the Nashville and Chattanooga Technology Councils, the Nashville CIO Council, the Tennessee Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA), and the Nashville Chapter of the Society for Information Management (SIM).

Mr. Degati graduated from Columbia University in New York City with a degree in computer science.

Mr. Degati is based in MMP’s Brentwood, Tennessee office.
